Congratulations to Milana Mascia, a Grade 9 student at Saint Paul Catholic High School, who can now call herself a Juno nominee!

Milana is part of the all-girl band Girl Pow-R, made up of girls between the ages of 11-16, with the goal of giving young fans an alternative to songs written from the perspective of people in their late teens and 20s. They are nominated in the children’s category for the awards, which will take place in Saskatoon March 15.

Congratulations to Melana and the entire band – we’ll be watching you March 15!!
