More than 350 people attended Niagara Catholic’s third annual Pathways Speaker Summit, about pursuing a career in the trades.

Niagara Catholic held its annual Pathways Speakers Summit at John Michael’s Banquet Hall in Thorold, Wednesday night, and more than 350 students and parents packed the room to hear from industry experts about future education and career options.

This year, Niagara Catholic welcomed speakers Neil Lane (Spathletes), Neil Thornton (The Thornton Group), Adam Durant (Niagara Workforce Planning Board), Shane Malcolm (Leadership Niagara), Chuck McShane (Niagara Homebuilders Association), Aaron Tisdale (Girotti Machine), Stephanie Thompson (General Motors Canada) and Tracey Giovannone (HR, Niagara Health). This outstanding event was organized through the leadership of Niagara Catholic’s Coordinator of Student Success Jennifer Pirosko, and Ivana Galante, our Consultant for K-12 Business/Technology, Specialist High Skills Major, Co-Op and Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Programming. Special thanks to all of our speakers who gave up their evening to share their experience with our students and parents, and thanks to YourTV Niagara for covering the event. Watch their video here.
