Niagara Catholic had a strong presence at the Canadian Indoor Rowing Championships in Mississauga, last weekend.
Cait Whittard from Denis Morris Catholic High School, captured gold in the Under 17 Lightweight women.
In the Under 17 Open Women category, Hannah Girolametto from Saint Michael Catholic High School and Alivia Thornton from Lakeshore Catholic High School captured silver and bronze respectively.
In the Under 19 Women, Alex Wiley from Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School earned silver, and Teagan Orth from Saint Francis Catholic Secondary School finished with a bronze.
In the men’s category, David Picard, also from Saint Francis, picked up a bronze in the Under 19 Lightweight Men.
Kayla Whitnell, from Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School, and her father and coach, Curt Whitnell, finished second in the father-daughter category.
