Welcome to the Niagara Catholic Virtual School!

Updated June 1, 2021

Niagara Catholic will offer remote learning to elementary students in 2021-2022, as required by the Ministry of Education, through the Niagara Catholic Virtual Elementary School.

Parents will receive a survey today by email about your intentions for your child's learning next year, whether they will learn in-person or through the Virtual School. If you have not done so already, you may also complete the survey here, prior to 11:59 p.m. on June 7. We will ask parents in August to confirm your final decision.

Principal Chris Boyer is available to answer your questions. Please contact him at Christopher.boyer@ncdsb.com.

In order to provide programming to students who have chosen to not attend school during the pandemic, the Niagara Catholic District School Board created virtual elementary and secondary schools.

Virtual school students will remain attached to their home school. Teachers assigned to the virtual school will continue to be connected to their home school. Milestone occasions, such as graduations and other special events, will continue through the home school.

The office for the virtual school is located at St. Mary Catholic Elementary School, 120 Plymouth Road, Welland. The phone number is 905.225.8639.
